Shopping Ban Fail Haul Part 2

This is part 2 of my haul. I didn't do so well on my shopping ban and you can see part 1 here: http://shoppingqueenjen.blogspot.com.au/2012/10/shopping-ban-fail-haul-part-1.html

I made an order on the Benefit website 2 weeks ago and I bought way too much stuff so that I could qualify for the free shipping (free when spending $125 or more). The prices on their website are the US prices so I didn't have to pay the outrageous Australian prices (which I'll list in the descriptions). Benefit is going to feature in my next giveaway ;) but don't forget to enter my current one! I can't wait for it to end so I can start the next one :)

So onto my Benefit haul - (Warning: lots of photos ahead!)

Package

Opening the package
There was some really nice wrapping paper inside :)

Wrapping paper
First up is some eyelashes. These were thrown in for free but retail for US$15.

Benefit Pin-Up Lash

I picked up some skincare. This trio of minis was US$12. It contains a facial polish, facial cream and facial emulsion. I couldn't find an Australian price (not sure if we sell this pack here).

Trio of skincare
This is the remove it makeup remover. I love the packaging! The front flips down and the bottle looks like its made of glass but is actually a really hard plastic. I bought this for $21 but it retails for $38 here in Australia.

Next up is some box o' powders. They still had the plastic bit in them when I took the photos. These retail for US$28 each but I got them in a pack of two for $34. They retail for $51 each here in Australia!

Thrrrob blush and Hoola Bronzer
Thrrrob blush - pink brush!

I also picked up the Watt's Up! highlighter. I got it for $30. It's $53 here in Aus.

And lastly, I picked up this holiday gift set. I couldn't resist getting it as it was an absolute bargain! It retails for US$39 but the contents (if bought in the US) are worth US$77. In Australia, this gift set is retailing for $99 and the contents (if bought in Australia) are worth $142.

Holiday gift set - really cute cardboard briefcase
Porefessional, Bad Gal Lash mascara,
Hervana box o' powder, trial size of high beam
Hervana is so pretty!

And that's the end of my haul! Now I'm too broke to buy anything else for a long long long time. I'll be able to stick to a shopping ban for once :P

I feel better knowing that I saved a lot of money! I spent a total of $136 but if I'd bought it in Australia, it would've cost me at least $304 (not sure of how much the lashes and trio kit cost in Aus).

  1. Waa I want all of that! I've been meaning to buy from the Benefit website for ages, but feel like I'm being bad by spending so much (even though it works out so much cheaper!)
How long did it take to get to you?

    1. Me too! although it's good that they don't as I hate paying for shipping so I always spend too much to qualify for free shipping!

  4. I love the primed for takeoff gift set! I'm thinking about getting professional for mum for christmas and keeping the rest for myself ;) (I love the look of hervana!) $125 to get free shipping seems like a trap though, haha.

  10. Oh Jen...someone needs to take your credit card off you and change your paypal password :P I think shopping bans are counter productive because you always end up with a haul like this one when you are done :P I have been trying to save for my holiday (which is next month) so I have been changing my mindset when I shop. Now I think "Do I need this? Will I use it?" :)
